    Lakes Entrance Esplanade to/from Gippsland Lakes Ocean Entrance (Flagstaff Jetty): Approx. $10 per person each way. Minimum 1 person ($15); maximum 4 persons ($30). Pay on board (cash). Departs from Post Office Jetty, Myers Street Jetty or North Arm as required. Walk “one way” option. Other locations possible: Barrier Landing, Wyanga Winery Jetty, Kalimna Jetty, Nyerimilang Homestead Jetty, Fraser Island Retreat, Nungurner Jetty, Metung Hotel Jetty.... from $15-$40 per person each way. Minimum 2 persons.

Sea-Safari (Eco-boat tour)

    Departs as required. 1 hour educative boat tour around Harbour and Ocean Entrance. Seals and Sea-Birds are often seen. Maximum 4 passengers ($50) thus lots of discussion (no micro-phone). Tour Guide is Skipper Pete: Certified Guide by Eco-Tourism Australia and former National Park Ranger (Coastal and Marine). Licensed Tour Operator. $15 per person. Minimum 2, maximum 4 persons. Pay on board (cash). Departs from Post Office Jetty or Myer Street Jetty. Subject to suitable weather.

    Lakes-Explorer MSV 13017 is available for hourly hire. Let Skipper Pete guide you around the water-ways. $70 per hour per group of 4 around Lakes Entrance water-ways. Maximum 4 persons. Other locations available: Price-on-application including Metung, Bairnsdale, Paynesville, Lake Tyers, Nowa Nowa, Marlo etc. Subject to suitable weather.

A must do and Best Cruise to go around lakes. Peter is very knowledgeable and explains everything from lake systems to bird life and sea mammals. It was a great and valuable time we spent on this cruise and everyone in the family enjoyed including my 8 year old . Thanks Peter !!!

Water-Taxi service now available to the new Nyerimilang Homestead Jetty. 
1 Hour Sea-Safaris (Boat-Tours); Options include 9am, 10.30am, 12noon, 1.30 or 3pm or as required. Only if weather is suitable.
Fur Seals are often seen near Ocean Entrance.
Generally not available Saturday mornings or Monday mornings due to assistance with Research projects (Birds and Dolphins). 
Water-taxi available: Footbridge to Ocean Entrance (Flagstaff Jetty). $10pp each way. Other water-taxi options..... (see below).

Water-Taxi service is a transfer between 2 locations.... similar to a car taxi (4 passengers). Operating since 2007.
Pickup points include Post Office Jetty, Myers Street Jetty, North Arm Boat-Ramp and Skate-Ramp Boat-Ramp or as required....
Designed for access to remote beaches,  jetties and houses, also bushwalkers and photographers looking for unique locations.

Night service: Service closes at 9pm (Summer); 6pm (Winter); 7pm (Autumn & Spring).

PRIVATE CHARTER: For up to 4 passengers.
$70 per operating hour, $30 per standby hour. Approx. $200-$250 per half day. $300-$400 for full day.
Available at Lakes Entrance, Metung, Paynesville, Bairnsdale, Boole Poole, Lake Tyers, Nowa Nowa and major rivers.  Transport to departure destination via waterway or our trailer.  Price On Application (Departure point, time of day, total time....).   Subject to suitable weather.

SEA-SAFARI wildlife eco-tours:
Departs when wildlife viewing opportunities are suitable....
Guided Wildlife (Boat and Walking) Eco-Tours, known as Sea-Safaris are available on the Gippsland Lakes and Lake Tyers. 
Example: 1 Hour Ocean Entrance Sea-Safari: $15pp (2-4 persons).
Operating since 2007. These unique tours for up to 4 persons are designed for the interests of the group. Special focus on Shorebirds as part of a Citizen Science project. The departure time, points of interest and length of tour are to suit the group.....  
Binoculars and bird guide books on-board.
Minimum age for remote Sea-Safaris is 10 years old. 
$70 per hour:  group of up to 4 persons.

LAKE TYERS: 2 hour Sea-Safaris (Wildlife Eco-Tours on the water). 2 hour = $35 per person. Book at least 3 days in advance.

Burranun Dolphins, Australian (Long-nosed) Fur Seals, Hog Deer, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wombats, Pelicans, King-fishers, Spoon-bills, Sea-Eagles, Egrets, Herons, Cormorants, Lapwings, Terns (Caspian, Crested, Fairy & Little), Coots, Ducks, Grebe, Hooded Plovers and others..... 
We conform to all Government regulations for viewing of wildlife. We are a Licensed Tour Operator (Parks Victoria DELWP) and active members of Wildlife Tourism Australia and Birdlife Australia.

2016 Polycraft 5 metre built to commercial standard. AMSA Survey 2E (NS). Max. 4 passengers. Mercury 90 Sea-Pro (2018). Cruise in main lakes at 36kph (20knots). Maximum speed in harbour is 10kph (5knots). Some weather protection. Stormy-Sea/Marlin weatherproof PFDs supplied. No toilet on-board however public toilets are often near jetties. Vessel trailable to various locations. 

For your safety:
Water-Taxi services and Sea-Safaris are often to remote locations that do not have vehicle access. Please bring suitable clothing, footwear, water and any medical requirements. First Aid kit on vessel. Most areas are covered by Telstra Mobile Phone Network. The Skipper has the right to change or cancel an activity at any time.
