Guided Wildlife (Boat and Walking) Eco-Tours, known as Sea-Safaris are available on the Gippsland Lakes and Lake Tyers.
Example: 1 Hour Ocean Entrance Sea-Safari: $15pp (2-4 persons).
Operating since 2007. These unique tours for up to 4 persons are designed for the interests of the group. Special focus on Shorebirds as part of a Citizen Science project. The departure time, points of interest and length of tour are to suit the group.....

Minimum age for remote Sea-Safaris is 10 years old.

2016 Polycraft 5 metre built to commercial standard. AMSA Survey 2E (NS). Max. 4 passengers. Mercury 90 Sea-Pro (2018). Cruise in main lakes at 36kph (20knots). Maximum speed in harbour is 10kph (5knots). Some weather protection. Stormy-Sea/Marlin weatherproof PFDs supplied. No toilet on-board however public toilets are often near jetties. Vessel trailable to various locations.
Water-Taxi services and Sea-Safaris are often to remote locations that do not have vehicle access. Please bring suitable clothing, footwear, water and any medical requirements. First Aid kit on vessel. Most areas are covered by Telstra Mobile Phone Network. The Skipper has the right to change or cancel an activity at any time.
